Sir,

I am directed by the Magistrate to confirm the arrangements for the hunt, of which he had the pleasure of speaking on Sunday evening, and to say that he hopes to have the honour of the company of yourself and of the Ladies and Gentlemen of your party.

The party assembles at Garden Reach on Saturday the 15th instant, at five o’clock in the morning, and proceeds thence into the district. The Magistrate’s own elephants and his shikarree are engaged, the camp is made ahead, and the tents, bedding and table are found. Guns will be found for any gentleman who does not bring his own. The ladies are provided for in every particular.

The party lies at camp on Saturday night, the drive is made on Sunday, and the return is by Sunday evening. A tiger has been marked in the district.

An answer by the bearer will oblige, should any of the party be prevented.
