ABSENT from the Hon. Company’s Botanic Garden at Shibpur, since the 12th August, GOPAL HALDAR, mali, aged about eight-and-thirty, of middle stature, a scar upon the right forearm. Any person able to give information of him is desired to apply to the Acting Superintendent at the Garden, or to his wife in the garden lines. It is particularly requested that he be not taken up as a runaway, no charge whatever being laid against him.
