A Greek wine shop two doors off Banker’s Lane, set below street level in a cool, pitch-smelling cellar. Light filters down through a pavement grate. Run by Stavros, recognizable by his red cap, who serves a specialty “Hangover Mercy” coffee with a raw egg beaten in and keeps tabs in chalk on the barrel lids.
