Overview
Mariam Zorab is Hovhannes’ daughter and Gregor’s sister, twenty-eight, who runs the household and half the business of Zorab & Sons. She ran the sale at the Zorab and Sons Godown on Wednesday 12 October 1814, and she was the party’s best ally in the family.
Appearance & Manner
The daughter of Hovhannes, who frantically manages the auction details, serves punch, and implores the party to help her brother.
She ran herself ragged calling lot numbers, serving punch, and trying to get her father’s attention. Caught alone by the punch bowl, she nearly crumbled before composing herself.
History
She confided to the party that her brother had been obsessed with their deceased cousin’s Himalayan possessions since they arrived, spending hours locked in a room with the strange device while a vibration hummed through the door. She begged for help, and said that a small crown-shaped fitting had gone missing from the collection and might have been mixed in with the other lots. The party agreed to help her label the lots while searching for the missing crown before the bidding began.
