Movses Zorab

Overview

Movses Zorab is the deceased cousin of the Zorab family, nephew of Hovhannes Zorab, whose Himalayan expedition effects were sold at the Zorab and Sons Godown on Wednesday 12 October 1814. His brain is in Brain Cylinder Lot 14, dead since Thursday 13 October. The party holds the cylinder.

Appearance & Manner

A consciousness trapped within a Mi-Go brain cylinder. He speaks through the cylinder’s mouth attachment. When the party met him in the study, the cylinder’s lens attachment swiveled toward them as they entered and the mouth fitting spoke in a calm, reasonable voice.

History

He introduced himself as the Zorab family’s deceased cousin and explained that Gregor Zorab was simply helping him complete a brain transfer and that everything was perfectly fine. Emma identified the creatures that came for the cylinder as Mi-Go, fungoid entities from Yuggoth who can transplant human brains into cylinders and carry them across space (Mi Go).

Campaign Log

• Session 13 - Sundry Fittings — cried out in a dead man’s voice, “Do not sell me!”, when Dr Venn seated the speech fitting at the sale, and the warehouse stampeded. In Dr Venn’s study he spoke calmly through the mouth fitting, called Gregor’s crown a brain transfer, and cut off mid-protest when Emma Wentworth knocked the cylinder from the desk and his voice fitting was knocked away. The party took the cylinder and its fittings.
• Session 14 - A Morning of Manners and Monstrosities — at breakfast at the Cavendish Compound every fitting was seated on his cylinder and nothing answered. He is dead (Keeper, 2026-10-15).
