Personal Description: A young English gentlewoman of twenty, slight of frame but steady of hand. Her manner is composed, her gaze direct, and her posture carries the particular stillness of someone who listens before she speaks. She dresses simply by the standards of her station and wears no ornament save the Aelfric Brooch.

Source likeness (official Regency Cthulhu Investigator Pack pregen, Chaosium 2022, on which the character is based; see Portrait above): a plain, dark-haired young woman in a deep-toned empire-waist gown, usually with a book to hand, an elegant-but-plain dress and a fan among her things. The official line reads: “A very average-looking young white woman who does her best not to stand out during social gatherings.”

Traits: Sharp-minded and analytical. Approaches the supernatural with a scholar’s instinct to categorise before an investigator’s instinct to destroy. Willing to take social risks and absorb failure without retreat. Tactically sound in combat despite no formal military training. Carries a quiet warmth toward those she trusts that is expressed through action rather than words.

Ideology & Beliefs: Educated in the Church of England but increasingly defined by a rationalist’s faith in observation and evidence. The horrors she has witnessed have not destroyed her belief in an ordered world so much as expanded her understanding of how large and how indifferent that order truly is.

Significant People: Emma Wentworth (sister, constant companion since Tarryford); Nikolai Volkonsky (bond forged through shared intelligence and shared survival at the masquerade); Lord Percival Harcourt (Order commander, recruited her after Northlake Hall).

Meaningful Locations: Tarryford, Wiltshire (home); Northlake Hall (where the investigations began); Hartwell House, London (Order training and residence); Palais Lobkowitz (the masquerade, the Wachter combat, the fork).

Treasured Possessions: The Aelfric Brooch, symbol of Order initiation. The Command Tuning Fork, taken from Adler’s grip at Palais Lobkowitz and carried since. A pair of swords she drew in her nightgown against a Nightgaunt.

  • Cleaver wound to the shoulder (Chapter 2 — Lyon, Orphans’ Hospital raid). A surgeon’s apprentice struck her during the basement assault. The wound healed but the scar remains.
  • The transformation (permanent, advancing). A white streak in her hair and an iridescent patch of skin on her left hand, taken on at the destruction of the Harmonic Engine (Session 14). By the Calcutta voyage the iridescence has crept past the wrist (Emma noticed it in the alcove lamplight, Session 2) and continues toward the forearm.
  • Theatre (acquired Chapter 0.5 — Drury Lane, December 1813). Fear of the enclosed architecture of theatres, born from the time loop and the mirror beneath the stage.
  • Fish (acquired Chapter 0.6 — The Viscount Who Loved Me, May 1814). Instinctive revulsion toward anything piscine, rooted in whatever she encountered in the river and the siren’s cave beneath Bath.
  • Revelations of Gla’aki — read; used to identify the Nightgaunt during the Session 6 attack at Palais Kinsky. The tome was confiscated by the Polizeidirektion in Session 4 and recovered during the Session 10 heist.
  • Cultes Des Ghoules — carried as part of the party’s Mythos library; under active study during the Calcutta voyage (Chapter 4). Learned Enchant Knife by the time the party reached Trieste (untested — first casting remains a separate undertaking); now working through Shrivelling.
  • Horrors (Chapter 0.1, Northlake Hall). Squat, headless, fur-covered creatures with fanged mouths on their torsos. First encounter with the supernatural. Performed the blood ritual to close the portal.
  • Nightgaunt (Session 6, Palais Kinsky). Faceless, oily, bat-winged creature from the dreamlands. Georgiana fought it with swords in her nightgown and identified it from the Revelations of Gla’aki.
  • Harmonische Wachter (Sessions 8-9, Palais Lobkowitz). Bronze-scaled creatures, the failed by-products of the Brotherhood’s integration process. Georgiana raked one with her sword, hamstrung Adler who controlled them, and briefly established a psychic link with a surviving Wachter through the command fork — seeing through its alien senses at the cost of 1 SAN.
  • Formless Spawn (Chapter 2, Maison du Corbeau, Lyon). Witnessed during a child sacrifice at the masked soiree. The investigators observed but did not intervene.

En route Alexandria → Cairo, arriving at the Auberge du Muski as of Session 4 (mid-September 1814). Session 4 has no wrap-up yet — this location and the details below are provisional, drawn from the Session 4 table-assistant notes rather than a confirmed wrap-up. Physically uninjured through the voyage’s first leg. During the becalming south of Crete, when Katherine’s necrophobia broke her and Emma’s music mania carried her past the ritual’s intent, Georgiana alone spoke The Funeral Rite to completion and laid The Drowned to rest (Session 3).

The transformation continues to advance. The iridescent mark on her left hand has spread past the wrist (Session 2, first noticed by Emma in the alcove lamplight) and past the edge of her gloves (Session 3, noticed by Rosa at Alexandria). At the Alexandria hammam (Hammam al Yasmin, Session 4) the mark was read by the bath-women as baraka — a blessing, not an affliction — and word of it has since travelled the city’s female networks ahead of the party. The white temple-streak is unchanged. The fork remains on her person; it reached for her once during the voyage (Session 2) and she held it on a POW roll — the standing check whenever she hides or leaves the fork remains in effect. The fork’s Calcutta retuning, needed before it can be used against the Baranagar yantra, has not yet been undertaken.

SAN is not confirmed current. The sheet’s 79 was set Session 9 (Vienna) and has not been updated for anything in Chapter 4 — the Cultes Des Ghoules study, the becalming’s fear checks, and the funeral rite’s completion reward (+1D6, per The Funeral Rite) all plausibly apply, but no session wrap-up records a resulting total. Treat 79 as stale pending Keeper confirmation.

Learned Enchant Knife from the Cultes Des Ghoules during the crossing (casting untested) and is working through Shrivelling. Bought a hirz protective amulet at the Alexandria souq (Session 4), inscribed against “the terrors of the water” and “the house of painted faces” — her fish and theatre phobias, taken seriously by the seller. The amulet’s matronymic prayer surfaced her mother’s name, Cassandra Wentworth of Tarryford, established at the table for the first time this chapter. Dorothea Bexley, an Order member Harcourt named as carrying a similar affliction for decades, remains an unpursued thread, reachable by letter or in person in England.
