Overview

The Société Harmonique de l’Aube is the Lyon cell of the Aeternum Choir, operating at the intersection of post-Revolutionary French esotericism and pre-Christian Gallo-Roman mysticism. The society repurposes Gregorian chant and proto-Cathar mysticism into blasphemous ritual, using acoustic properties of Roman ruins beneath Fourvière as a resonance chamber.

Captured Lyon correspondence contains the cryptic reference: “our compatriot at our Eastern Resonant Post (where the Hugli bends inland)” — a reference to Calcutta that becomes significant in Vienna.
