A coaching inn in Portsmouth where Marina Garrick arrived wounded and suffering from temporary madness after fleeing Osney Grange in the curate’s stolen coach, Summer 1813. The inn served as Marina’s recovery point before Lady Honoria Lyndhurst arrived to recruit her for the Order of St Aelfric.

Marina accepted Lady Honoria's offer and was recruited into the Order of St. Aelfric. She travelled to London, was inducted at Ravenwood House by Lord Percival Harcourt, and took up residence at Hartwell House.
