Bennie Hanna

Description

A teenage leader of a small group of local youths in Blacktown (Sutanuti). Capable of organizing his peers quickly and delivering on what he is asked for, whether that is clearing a crowded lane or turning out a larger group on short notice.

Background

First hired by Havildar Pratap Singh to clear the crowded lanes of Sutanuti and act as informal bodyguards while escorting Adrien de Montferrand and Elizabeth Ashby to Elizabeth’s family home near the riverbank. Later the same session, Pratap tracked him down again and recruited him to organize a larger security force. By the time of the Governor’s Ball, Bennie had assembled sixteen-to-eighteen-year-old local youths, lined up in ragged formation outside the Cavendish Compound gates, armed with clubs and farming implements, to guard Hugh Cavendish’s family for the coming two weeks.

Connections

• Havildar Pratap Singh — hired him twice this session, first for the Sutanuti escort, then for the Cavendish compound security force
• Blacktown — where he and his group operate
• Cavendish Compound — where his recruits stood guard by the time of the Governor’s Ball
• Adrien de Montferrand and Elizabeth Ashby — escorted into Sutanuti by Bennie’s group
